The Southwest Chapter recently held it’s annual volunteer event at the Mount Saint Vincent Home (MSV). MSV has been nurturing and healing abused, neglected and traumatized children for 130 years. Â Nearly 20 PLUS members spent a good part of their Friday (5/3/13) prepping the Charity’s vegetable garden and performing other general grounds work where the expansive property is always in need of mulching, weeding and other assistance.
As part of its 2013 Chapter Charity Initiative with PLUS Foundation, the Texas Chapter held an Earth Day volunteer event at the Think and Grow Green Community Garden. Seventeen PLUS members showed off their green thumbs, helping the garden get up and running for the new year.
The PLUS Texas Chapter held a bowling for charity event at 300 Houston Bowling Alley on April 18. As you can see, everyone in attendance had a blast! All money raised at the event will benefit the PLUS Foundation.
