On Sunday, June 14 the North Central Chapter of PLUS volunteered at the Young Faces of ALS Corntoss Challenge at CHS Field in St. Paul, Minnesota. Volunteers from the chapter helped organize and run the Corntoss Challenge, a fundraising event benefiting ALS-TDI (Therapy Development Institute). The event was tremendous, with more than 100 participants and $30,000 raised!
Thanks to all who volunteered to make this event such a success!
The PLUS Southeast Chapter, in conjunction with Future PLUS, hosted a networking event on June 18 at Sweetwater Brewing Company in Atlanta. Over 120 attendees spent the afternoon networking, taking brewery tours (including the tasting room) and enjoying true Southern BBQ!
Thanks to all who made this event a runaway success!
The PLUS Southeast Chapter is pleased to support HOPE Atlanta, the recipient of the chapter’s 2015 Chapter Charity Grant.
Chapter leaders delivered a grant check for $2,500 to the organization, which will use the money to support their 6,000 homeless or at-risk clients. Of every dollar given to HOPE Atlanta, 94 cents goes toward its mission; so of the $2,500 grant, approximately $2,350 will go toward the work HOPE does this year.
