PLUS Foundation’s annual Shots for Charity hockey game took place on Tuesday, February 7 in New York City. This year’s game pitted insurers from the U.S. against those from Canada to fight for nationalistic pride and bragging rights – as well as a larger donation to that country’s charity.
The Canadian team played for The British Garden, a memorial in New York remembering Canadian victims of the 9/11 attacks, while the U.S. played for the 9/11 Memorial. All told, $25,000 was raised to benefit these two great organizations.
