On April 30, 2015 the New England Chapter of PLUS held a networking event at Bostonia Public House. During the event the 70 professionals in attendance looked on as the chapter donated two checks to local charities as part of the 2015 Chapter Charity initiative.

Our two charitable donations ($2,500 each) were made to A Prom to Remember: www.apromtoremember.org and Lynne’s Kids: www.lynneskids.org.  Deb DeLeo and Donna Le Leonardo from Lynne’s Kids and Wendy Nichols from A Prom to Remember attended our networking event and gave brief speeches thanking the PLUS Foundation and talking about their respective organizations.  We present the donations in person each year because we believe it shows the great work done by the PLUS Foundation.  Eileen Purcell, a Steering Committee member on our New England Chapter, presented the checks to Donna and Wendy.  Eileen heads up the charitable efforts of our Chapter.
