Southern California Golf Tournament Benefits the PLUS Foundation

It was a gorgeous sunny day at MountainGate Country Club in Los Angeles for the annual PLUS Southern California Golf Tournament. More than 60 golfers, sponsors, and volunteers gathered to support the PLUS Foundation on Monday, September 10, 2018. The tournament expects to raise more than $2,500 for the PLUS Foundation.

This year the PLUS Foundation’s Chapter Charity grants for the Southern California Chapter are awarded to Baby2Baby, which provides low income children ages 0-12 with diapers, clothing, and basic necessities that all children deserve, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, to support resources to drive research to find a cure for MS and offers educational programs to health care providers. The Chapter also plans to host a volunteer activity for the Sheehan Adopt A Family on Sunday, December 2, 2018, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Alpine Village to pack toys in preparation for the children’s holiday party.  The Sheehan Adopt A Family program provides low income families with food, clothes and toys during the holidays. Watch for more details to come on the upcoming volunteer activity to see how you can become involved!
