Thursday, September 27 was the PLUS Southwest Chapter’s day-long Cyber seminar, focused on Hot Topics in Cyber Liability. 35 people gathered at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch to discuss the latest trends in cyber liability and listen to keynote addresses from Michael Lombardi, Vertigrate Inc, and Jay Kramer, Lewis Brisbois. Panels on “The Intersection of Cyber with Other Lines of Business” and “New and Emerging Cyber Trends” fueled conversation about how this ever-changing branch affects the entire industry and how it will continue to change the landscape of professional liability. The slide presentations from this event are available on the PLUS website.
At this event, the PLUS Southwest Chapter presented a check for $2,500 to the CEO of Rosie’s House, Becky Bell Ballard, as part of the PLUS Foundation’s Chapter Charity Grant Program. Rosie’s House provides robust music education to underprivileged youth, with over 14,900 free music lessons to 425 students enrolled in the program.
