On October 11, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter teamed up with Cradles To Crayons, a regional needs based organization, to help prepare individualized packages of clothing, books, toys, and necessities to children in need. The Mid-Atlantic Chapter would like to thank the PLUS Foundation and their enthusiastic membership for helping them support their local community. They had a wonderful time, met some new friends, and made a real impact on their community!

At this event, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter was able to gift a check of one thousand dollars to Cradles to Crayons through the PLUS Foundation. Cradles to Crayons is an organization that provides children living in homelessness or low-income situations from birth to age 12 with essential items needed to survive: clothes, shoes, books, toys, baby safety equipment, and school supplies.
