Nine Members to Serve as LAMP Mentors in 2019

An integral component of PLUS’ Diversity Leadership & Mentoring Program (LAMP) is mentorship. PLUS matches each member of the LAMP Cohort with a senior-level PLUS member who mentors the LAMP participant for the duration of the program, a period of 12 months.

LAMP mentors are selected from a pool of active members who work in a senior-level role at their firm and have been a member of PLUS for 10+ years. PLUS matches interested mentors with LAMP participants based on geographic proximity (for the added benefit of in-person meetings) and other preferences such as gender and professional line experience, as indicated by the participants.

This year, nine mentors were selected to serve as mentors for LAMP:

Michael Fasanella, RPLU*, Assistant Vice President, Allied World Insurance – Philadelphia

Charles Francis, Regional Vice President Sales & Marketing/Vice President, National Healthcare Team, ProAssurance – Chicago

Roger Hacala, National Practice Leader, Financial and Professional Services at BFL CANADA – Toronto

Alison Martin, Senior Vice President, Financial Lines Product Manager, Chubb Insurance – Pittsburgh

Moiré Morón, Assistant Vice President – Claims, QBE North America – New York

Gladys Rivera, RPLU*, Client Service Manager Sr., Gallagher – Houston

Ken Stephens, RPLU, Senior Vice President, Global Client Executive – Chubb – Chicago

Di Weisinger, RPLU, Regional Underwriting Manager, Philadelphia Insurance Companies – Los Angeles

Dwight Williams, Client Executive – Financial Institutions Practice, Gallagher – New York

Two of these mentors have served in this capacity before, and two are LAMP alumni. A hearty thank you to these members for volunteering to serve in such a meaningful and impactful way.
