North Central Chapter Donates $6,000 to Ronald McDonald House

North Central Chapter Chair Aaron Simon (Meagher Geer) presented a $6,000 donation to the Ronald McDonald House Twin Cities. The Ronald McDonald House was selected by the PLUS Chapter to receive the 2020 $5,000 Chapter Charity grant and a $1,000 Amazon gift card, both funded by the PLUS Foundation. Northern California Chapter Supports Dress For Success

On Tuesday, October 29, the Northern California Chapter held a volunteer event at the San Francisco arm of Dress for Success. This organization helps women seeking assistance with returning to employment, providing outfits for job interviews, support with resumes and interviewing preparation, and continuing support for women who gain employment. Eleven volunteers came to help out Dress for Success. Some volunteers worked as personal shoppers in the Dress for Success boutique, helping clients choose outfits for upcoming job interviews, while others helped sort and prepared clothing donated to the boutique. Southeast Chapter Supports the JCS Café

Last Thursday, October 10, volunteers from the Southeast Chapter headed to the JCS Café, a drop-in center for senior citizens. They helped decorate the Café in preparation for Thanksgiving and Halloween, as well as interviewed regular attendees, baked, and painted.
