PLUS Foundation Conference Cause Supports USO Metro

Volunteers prepared 1,000 individual care packages with messages that will be given to deploying troops by the local USO Metropolitan Washington Baltimore Chapter, the largest USO Chapter in the country that serves 350,000 military members and their families each year. These care packages are the last thing soldiers receive as they deploy and it means so much to them to have your support.

If you weren’t at the PLUS Conference this year, or didn’t get a chance to volunteer, don’t worry—Conference Cause isn’t over yet! Please make a donation to the PLUS Foundation, to help support our Armed Forces and their families. Every penny received will go directly to USO Metro, and the Foundation will match up to $30,000 raised! Visit the PLUS Foundation website to view photos or to donate. There is no minimum donation – even a few dollars will make a difference! Help us make this holiday season special for the women and men who are deployed abroad.

Thanks for a great #PLUS2019!

All too quickly we find ourselves at the last day of the 2019 PLUS Conference! It’s been a great two days and we’re finishing out this year’s Conference strong with a Founders Roundtable over breakfast this morning. Listen to a panel of leaders discuss challenges they faced starting insurance businesses, how they overcame these challenges, and their views on challenges facing founder today. It’s sure to be an educational and insightful discussion for all attendees. There’s a final education session today on management and professional liability insurance, as well as a few final TechBytes in the Connections lounge.

A sincere thank you to each and every person who attended Conference this year. We work tirelessly to make these event the best they can possibly be, and you make all the effort worth it. We hope you made new connections, learned something new, and enjoyed yourself at Conference this year. Have a safe journey home, and we can’t wait to see you next year in Orlando, Florida for PLUS Conference 2020!

#PLUS2019 Continues with Thought-Provoking Education

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the PLUS Foundation Luncheon. It was wonderful to hear from Former First Lady Laura Bush! We’re happy to support the PLUS Foundation and the Women’s Leadership Network with speakers who bring powerful life experience to our attendees.

There are more education sessions happening throughout the afternoon as our speakers continue to examine and discuss the crucial topics and trends in today’s professional liability industry. From current EPL topics, to an in depth review of Intellectual Property Risk Management, to the dilemma of underwriting cannabis risks, there’s and education session tailored to your interests.

We invite all attendees to join us for a special session from Julio A. Portalatin, the Vice Chair of Marsh & McLennan Companies. Julio will be speaking on the intersection of diversity and automation, and how the benefits of an inclusive information interacts with the interface between human diversity and technology. This will be an excellent session from an important thought leader in the industry.
