On September 22 the PLUS Southeast Chapter steering committee volunteered at the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama. In addition to the volunteer event, the chapter donated $1,000 to the Food Bank as part of the 2016 PLUS Foundation Chapter Charity program.
Following the volunteer event, more than 60 industry professionals gathered at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook to network and make connections.
The PLUS Southeast Chapter hosted a Brews & BBQ Future PLUS networking social. Over 100 young professionals enjoyed networking, beer tasting and brewery tours at SweetWater Brewery on July 14th.
As part of the event the PLUS Foundation and the Southeast Chapter presented a check for $2,500 to the chapter’s 2016 Chapter Charity grant recipient, Cure Childhood Cancer. The organization is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research and by supporting patients and their families.
Recently the PLUS Southeast Chapter, as part of PLUS Foundation’s Chapter Charity program, presented a check for $2,500 to Quantum House.
The organization provides loving, caring and supportive housing for over 500 families annually whose children are being treated in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition.
