The NW Chapter held its annual Chapter Charity activity at Eastside Baby Clinic on October 4, 2017. The group stuffed clothes into care bags for children and shared a grant from the PLUS Foundation for $6,000 with the organization.

About Eastside Baby Corner:
EBC was founded by a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner working in well child care, newborn care and newborn ICU to fill an unmet need of parents or newborns who lacked basic supplies for their children. EBC distributes essential items to pregnant women and families in need with small children. EBC serves as a diaper bank, a clothing bank, and a food source for more than 500 kids each week (averaged 845 children per week in the fall of 2016).  EBC is the major source of baby food, formula, diapers, cribs and car seats for eleven local food banks.  EBC serves children in need up to age 12 and expectant mothers. Their 2015 Annual Report stated total Resources and Revenue of $6,130,386 with $5.3M as in-kind donations of goods and services. They are on track to distribute more than 1,000,000 diapers in 2016.
