Members of the Southern California Chapter came together this past Sunday, December 2, to help Sheehan Adopt a Family. This organization provides aid to low income families during the holidays, providing food, clothes, and toys. Volunteers helped unpack and sort toys for the Children’s Holiday Party, and the chapter was able to donate $1,000 to Sheehan Adopt a Family through the PLUS Foundation.
Thank you to the volunteers from the Southern California Chapter for supporting this great cause!
Volunteers from the North Central Chapter gathered on Wednesday, October 18 to make sandwiches for Minneapolis Recreation Development. This organization is dedicated to serving the homeless community, vulnerable individuals, disadvantaged youth, and their families in the Twin Cities. They were able to donate 6 coolers filled with over 500 sandwiches!
Thank you to the North Central Chapter and all the volunteers that helped make this charity event a success!
On October 11, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter teamed up with Cradles To Crayons, a regional needs based organization, to help prepare individualized packages of clothing, books, toys, and necessities to children in need. The Mid-Atlantic Chapter would like to thank the PLUS Foundation and their enthusiastic membership for helping them support their local community. They had a wonderful time, met some new friends, and made a real impact on their community!
At this event, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter was able to gift a check of one thousand dollars to Cradles to Crayons through the PLUS Foundation. Cradles to Crayons is an organization that provides children living in homelessness or low-income situations from birth to age 12 with essential items needed to survive: clothes, shoes, books, toys, baby safety equipment, and school supplies.
Thank you to the Mid-Atlantic Chapter, the PLUS Foundation, and all the volunteers who helped out at this event!
