Northern California Chapter Supports Project Open Hand

The Northern California Chapter participated in their annual charity drive this past Monday, October 15 at Project Open Hand.  Through their efforts, they were able to prep 600 pounds (1200 servings) of chicken and 3 cases of potatoes to help provide 2,500 meals to the chronically ill and elderly in San Francisco, California.

At this event, members of the Northern California Chapter presented a check for one thousand dollars to Project Open Hand through the PLUS Foundation. Project Open Hand has been providing nutritious meals to the critically ill and elderly of California since 1985. With the help of volunteers such as PLUS members, they prepare 2,500 meals and 200 bags of groceries every day.

Thank you to the Northern California Chapter and to the volunteers who participated in this charity drive!

PLUS Foundation Hosts Women’s Leadership Network in New York

On Wednesday October 3, 2018, the PLUS Foundation hosted the annual Women’s Leadership Network Luncheon at the Yale Club in New York City.  It was attended by another sold out crowd.  The speaker was Jenny Blake, a well-known business strategist and author.  Jenny Blake has developed a personal and professional growth strategy called the Pivot Method, about which she made a dynamic interactive presentation to the crowd.  All attendees were able to apply the steps of the Pivot Method to their own circumstances, in a thought provoking and engaging way.  It was a lot of fun to hear from some members of the audience regarding their outcomes.  The program was a huge success.

Enjoy the photos and thank you to everyone who attended this great event!

Southeast Chapter Golf Tournament Benefits the PLUS Foundation

It was a lovely day on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Polo Golf & Country Club for the Annual PLUS Southeast Chapter Golf Tournament. More than 40 golfers, sponsors and volunteers enjoyed all day business networking and the camaraderie of colleagues, clients, and friends. Tournament proceeds benefit the PLUS Foundation, which provides grants to local charities as nominated by PLUS members. This year’s Southeast Chapter Charity grants include the Hospitality House of Charlotte and the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Enjoy the photos from this event and we hope to see you at a PLUS event soon!
