The PLUS Cyber Symposium has added two big speaker additions.

PLUS is known for hosting world-class events that bring key opinion leaders together to discuss the emerging issues that impact our sectors of insurance. The 2015 PLUS Cyber Liability Symposium is just over two weeks away and I am excited to announce two tremendous additions to the event schedule for Chicago.

  • Brian Krebs on Cyber Security – You may know Brian Krebs from his renowned cyber security blog krebsonsecurity.com; He is credited with breaking news of the Target breach in 2014 and the Ashley Madison hack in the past month. Brian will join us live via Skype from 8:30 to 9 a.m. on September 17 for a moderated discussion on the cyber security landscape, the evolving hacker threat and the latest breach headlines.
  • Richard Betterley on the Latest Trends in Cyber Security and Insurance – Richard Betterley, author of The Betterley Report, an independent guide to specialty insurance products, will address the latest changes in cyber insurance and exposures in a virtual presentation during breakfast.

These two new sessions are in addition to the five excellent educational sessions already on the agenda, plus the luncheon keynote by Rod Beckstrom, “Preparing for Cyber Armageddon.”

We recognize that the cyber insurance marketplace is growing exponentially and there are many education and conference options vying for your attendance. But this conference is going to be the best one you can attend. These two additions further displays PLUS’s deep commitment to helping you serve this important and growing market. I hope you will be able to join us in Chicago on September 17 for what promises to be an insightful and memorable day.
