On December 10, 2019, the Midwest Chapter held their annual holiday party, welcoming friends and colleagues to celebrate the season with drinks, networking, and connection. Chapters all across the country have been getting together to celebrate the holiday season! Members and non-members enjoyed top-notch networking and the chance to spend quality time with friends and colleagues over great food and drink. Some chapters, like the Mid-Atlantic Chapter, used this opportunity to add in some education with a program on claim trends in the allied healthcare and lawyers’ professional liability lines of business. On Tuesday, October 29, the Northern California Chapter held a volunteer event at the San Francisco arm of Dress for Success. This organization helps women seeking assistance with returning to employment, providing outfits for job interviews, support with resumes and interviewing preparation, and continuing support for women who gain employment. Eleven volunteers came to help out Dress for Success. Some volunteers worked as personal shoppers in the Dress for Success boutique, helping clients choose outfits for upcoming job interviews, while others helped sort and prepared clothing donated to the boutique.
