On Tuesday, October 29, the Northern California Chapter held a volunteer event at the San Francisco arm of Dress for Success. This organization helps women seeking assistance with returning to employment, providing outfits for job interviews, support with resumes and interviewing preparation, and continuing support for women who gain employment.

Eleven volunteers came to help out Dress for Success. Some volunteers worked as personal shoppers in the Dress for Success boutique, helping clients choose outfits for upcoming job interviews, while others helped sort and prepared clothing donated to the boutique. Some volunteers even helped with resume reviews and coaching on interviewing techniques.

The PLUS Foundation donated $1,000 to Dress for Success to help this organization continue helping support and empower women. Thank you to the Chapter and to the volunteers who came out to help!
