Eastern Chapter Discusses the IPO Marketplace

This past Thursday, June 13, the Eastern Chapter met at St. John's University for a breakfast workshop. Over 100 people were in attendance, including 7 students from St. John's University. The workshop panel discussed the current insurance marketplace as well as critical terms & conditions and underwriting thought process behind these companies with such high evaluations. The panel also examined how the traditional IPO is utilizing underwriters with a firm commitment and the nontraditional way of direct listing.
