Eastern Chapter Discusses the IPO Marketplace

This past Thursday, June 13, the Eastern Chapter met at St. John’s University for a breakfast workshop. Over 100 people were in attendance, including 7 students from St. John’s University. The workshop panel discussed the current insurance marketplace as well as critical terms & conditions and underwriting thought process behind these companies with such high evaluations. The panel also examined how the traditional IPO is utilizing underwriters with a firm commitment and the nontraditional way of direct listing.

Thank you to the Chapter for organizing this event, and to the sponsors who made this and other events like it possible!
