The PLUS New England Chapter braved 90 degree temperatures on Thursday, July 30 to volunteer for the Esplanade Association, an organization that works to restore and enhance Boston’s Charles River esplanade. This event was part of the PLUS Foundation’s ongoing chapter charity program.
Volunteers did a stellar job on several gardening and cleanup projects near the Hatch Shell, and the Esplanade Association was extremely appreciative of their efforts. Following the gardening activity participants ventured to Harvard Gardens to network and cool off with a cold cocktail.
Thanks to all who participated in this great volunteer event.
