Wednesday, January 16 was the first Women’s Leadership Network Event held in Atlanta. The luncheon sold out with more than 90 attendees, who were excited to hear from  Elizabeth McCormick, former U.S. Army Black Hawk Pilot. She shared professional development secrets for business success with her stories of overcoming overwhelming obstacles as a helicopter pilot and inspired everyone who attended. After the luncheon and program, attendees were able to participate in the Southeast Chapter Sponsor Appreciation Cocktail Reception, which was also held at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Included below are some of the confidence boosting strategies that McCormick taught from the stage, as well as a video recording of her closing story.

Strategy 1: Boost your Confidence by shifting your language

Strategy 2: Delete the negative thoughts that no longer serve you

Strategy 3: Create an Invisible Suit of Armor between you and negativity
