On Thursday, October 3, the PLUS Foundation and the Eastern Chapter hosted a Women’s Leadership Network Luncheon in New York. 235 people enjoyed networking and lunch, and were able to learn from guest speaker Sarah Hurwitz. Hurwitz served as the chief speechwriter for First Lady Michelle Obama from 2010 to 2017, as well as a senior speechwriter for President Obama, chief speechwriter for then-Senator Hillary Clinton during her 2008 presidential campaign, and a speechwriter for candidates in the 2004 presidential campaign cycle and for a U.S. Senator. She spoke on the power of words and how to find your most authentic and influential voice as a woman leader.
