Women’s Leadership Network Builds Teamwork in Chicago

On Thursday, October 3, the PLUS Foundation hosted a fantastic Women’s Leadership Network event in Chicago. Almost 50 guests enjoyed the keynote address by Kim Lewis, founder and President of CurlMix, and an afternoon of food, drinks and networking. Ms. Lewis co-founded CurlMix with her husband and has made CurlMix an incredible success in only a few short years, making over $3.5 million in sales of clean beauty products for curly hair. She spoke on how to acquire talent the right way by learning what drives your team, helping them gain skills that matter, and earning their respect and loyalty.

Attendees found the presentation “engaging and informative,” with one attendee commenting,“Kim is a very dynamic business person and I am impressed with her insight about how to lift up a team.”
