PLUS Foundation Conference Cause Supports USO Metro

Volunteers prepared 1,000 individual care packages with messages that will be given to deploying troops by the local USO Metropolitan Washington Baltimore Chapter, the largest USO Chapter in the country that serves 350,000 military members and their families each year. These care packages are the last thing soldiers receive as they deploy and it means so much to them to have your support. Northern California Chapter Supports Dress For Success

On Tuesday, October 29, the Northern California Chapter held a volunteer event at the San Francisco arm of Dress for Success. This organization helps women seeking assistance with returning to employment, providing outfits for job interviews, support with resumes and interviewing preparation, and continuing support for women who gain employment. Eleven volunteers came to help out Dress for Success. Some volunteers worked as personal shoppers in the Dress for Success boutique, helping clients choose outfits for upcoming job interviews, while others helped sort and prepared clothing donated to the boutique.
