On June 9 the PLUS New England Chapter hosted a volunteer event at Rosie's Place, a local organization providing meals, shelter, education and emergency support for homeless women in the Boston area. This volunteer event was part of the 2016 PLUS Foundation Chapter Charity program. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and efforts to aid this great organization.
On December 2, 2015 the PLUS New England chapter held its annual Sponsor Appreciation and Holiday Party at the Black Rose in downtown Boston. More than 50 industry professionals attended the event, and the attendees donated 20+ pounds of food for the Greater Boston Food Bank. Thanks to all who attended, and to the NE Chapter sponsors for their support throughout the year.
The PLUS New England Chapter braved 90 degree temperatures on Thursday, July 30 to volunteer for the Esplanade Association, an organization that works to restore and enhance Boston’s Charles River esplanade. This event was part of the PLUS Foundation’s ongoing chapter charity program. Volunteers did a stellar job on several gardening and cleanup projects near the Hatch Shell, and the Esplanade Association was extremely appreciative of their efforts. Following the gardening activity participants ventured to Harvard Gardens to network and cool off with a cold cocktail. Thanks to all who participated in this great volunteer event.
