Bronson Smith moderates Kirsten Charlton, Rich Gatz, and Chris Hedenberg in their conversation about how AI might affect the professional liability industry, what benefits it may bring, and what insurers and brokers should watch out for as this technology becomes more widely available.

Kirsten Charlton is the US Head of Business Strategy & Operations at Argo Group. Over the last 25 years, her career has focused on transformational changes in the commercial insurance industry. Having had roles in claims, underwriting, operations and large implementation programs at both brokers and carriers, she has a broad view of both the technical and user side of IT changes such as AI.

Rich Gatz is a cyber claims expert, coverage geek, and data privacy attorney at Coalition, Inc. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors in History and a Juris Doctor from the DePaul University School of Law. He is an active member of the Illinois state bar.

Bronson Smith is the Central Region Team Leader for Old Republic Professional. He focuses on business development and underwriting management liability lines of coverage for public companies. Before re-joining ORPRO in 2016, Bronson had various underwriting roles at Chubb and CNA while developing expertise in public and private D&O liability, financial institutions management liability, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, cyber liability and crime products. Bronson graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in economics, and achieved the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation offered through PLUS.
